It’s natural for dogs to be born with distinct markings. Sometimes markings can be helpful to identifiers because they can help us differentiate them from other dogs that may look similar. Sometimes, markings can be a plain source of entertainment, depending on their location, shape, and color.
This dog, however, attracts a lot of attention from different people because her distinct black and white pattern on her ear resembled her face. It’s as if the pup was born with his selfie on her ear.
Her name is Lucy, who was born in upstate New York after her mom, a stray dog named Daisy, brought her to the shelter. It didn’t take too long before she found her forever home.
Her new owners, Cassidy Troy and Zach Johnson adopted the puppy. At first, they didn’t notice the unique marking on her ear until a shop worker called their attention and pointed it out to them. At that time, they just got her from the shelter, and they decided to buy dog food for her.
Cassidy shares that passersby can’t help but notice the marking on Lucy’s ear and compliment her for it whenever they go out for walks. For those who haven’t seen it in person, she says that they have a hard time believing them until they see Lucy in person. And when they do, they’re amazed.
Apart from her unique selfie marking, Lucy is an affectionate and adorable pup who loves getting a lot of attention from people who greet her. She is always excited when people approach her and ask her to play.
Her owners aptly said no one has met Lucy and fell in love with her. And it’s not surprising at all because all dogs are equally lovable and adorable. Lucy just happened to have a bonus.
